True Son of God

The scriptures communicate to us that all who believe in the finished work of Jesus Christ have been given the right to be called a child of God. This election given to us by God holds great importance because it not only reminds us of what we have been freed from, but also of what we have gained through Jesus Christ.

This title provides us with identity, security, and a restored relationship with our Heavenly Father. We now have inherited the promises given to us by God of a life of true abundance and joy that can only be obtained through Him. And like an earthly Father who cares for, provides, corrects, and guides his child, our Father, through the Holy Spirit, will do the same. So do not fear or be dismayed, for our God goes with us!
